Land Art including a Granite Stone 3 Circuit Labyrinth

Clare Danstead is a working artist and teacher. She has written and illustrated a series of children's story books and has recently been working as a Land Artist. Shepway District Council commissioned from Clare a Sandstone Labyrinth to be built at the Coastal Park in Folkestone in May 2008. She has just finished a wonderful Exhibition at Georges House Gallery in Folkestone, in which she took her Land Art into the Gallery space: over 700 people visited the Exhibition over 12 days. Clare will be showing some of her most recent work including sculpture made in response to the environment surrounding her home.
