Architect's guide to the newly refurbished historic dockyard building

An opportunity to see inside this Grade II* Listed building, originally built at the end of the 18th century as a joiners' shop for carpenters making timber products for ships built at the dockyards. Now The Joiners Shop has been shortlisted for the RIBA Awards; and is a thriving business centre catering for starter businesses in the creative arts. The architect responsible for the refurbishment will give two tours, one at 11am and one at midday guiding you through the design process and talking about the interesting challenges of working on an historic building within a prestigious site.
